Since our founding in 2004, Global Vision Inc. has been dedicated to connecting the world through food by bringing premium livestock products and foods from around the world to Japan while introducing Japan’s exceptional food products to international markets.
Before establishing Global Vision, my predecessor, Takashi Kamayachi, and I were both responsible for beef imports at the livestock division of a major trading company. Following the company’s bankruptcy in 1998, we began handling exports to Japan at a newly established Japan office for a Canadian beef processor, a company that had been one of our suppliers.
In 2003, the discovery of BSE in Canada led Japan and many other countries to suspend imports of Canadian beef. Overnight, our business came to a complete standstill. While waiting for the import ban to be lifted, we worked tirelessly to create new business opportunities to sustain the Japan office. Although the office ultimately closed ten months later, the new relationships and businesses we had begun to build became the foundation for the establishment of Global Vision in 2004.
With the unwavering support of our customers and business partners, what began as a two-person company has steadily grown. Today, our business extends far beyond livestock products to include edible oils, beverages, processed foods, and alcoholic beverages. Our global network now spans Canada, Thailand, Vietnam, Australia, New Zealand, Iceland, the European Union, Brazil, and many other regions.
In today’s rapidly changing global marketplace, we believe our greatest strengths lie in the agility and flexibility that only an independent company can offer. Our role goes beyond simply moving products from one place to another. We build lasting relationships with trusted partners around the world and work closely with our customers to deliver solutions that best meet their needs.

| 2019 | Paid a courtesy visit to the President of Iceland. Signed a Japan agency agreement with NZ-based Bon Accord. |
| 2020 | Launched e-commerce operations. |
| 2022 | Began importing and wholesaling European beer and beverages. Welcomed executives from the European Agricultural Committee. |
| 2023 | Hosted the Minister of Agriculture from Quebec, Canada. Started importing seafood from New Zealand (e.g., scorpionfish). |

| 2025 | Moved office to Hatchobori, Chuo-ku. |
