(Life) Where There Is Hardship, There Is Joy
This phrase was written on a signed soccer ball given by Mr. Kawabuchi, the then-chairman of the J.League, to the employees of a trading company that suddenly went bankrupt—a company where I had worked for over ten years. By chance, I received that ball.
Over time, this phrase gradually took root in my heart, evolving with each passing year as I faced numerous challenges.

Global Vision Inc. was founded in 2004 by employees of the Japanese office of a Canadian meat manufacturer where I worked afterward.
While I vividly recall the struggles and pains experienced before and after the company’s establishment, I find it hard to remember any joys (lol). Yet, every day is filled with countless events, both inside and outside the company.
I don’t think I’m particularly skilled at handling things effortlessly, so I focus on sticking to basic principles to remain steady in any situation.

Approach everything with sincerity,
do your best in the moment,
and aim to be of value to others, even just a little.
With this mindset, I believe any adversity can be overcome.
and the next path will naturally become clear.

Today, our clients range from major corporations in Japan and abroad to small businesses run by individuals, along with distributors, advertisers, financial institutions, and associations.
We have the privilege of working with a wide range of people, all of whom are our highly valued and important partners.
Our work is possible only because of everyone’s support.
That’s why we constantly reflect on what Global Vision can do to serve you better and to continue being of value to you. This is and will always be our starting point.

Before founding Global Vision, I worked for about four years at a Canadian meat manufacturer, whose president—my boss—sadly passed away last year. He was a legend in the meat industry, with over 50 years of experience, and his words still resonate with me:

“Meat is meat, people make meat.”
The translation would be:
“Meat is just meat after all; it’s the people around you who give that meat its value.”

At Global Vision, our purpose is precisely that— to increase the value of living products together with our business partners.
Finally, I leave you with two key messages that define who we are:

Make Value Together!!
And
Where There Is Hardship, There Is Joy
